When I ordered my nephew's Christmas present on December 2, I was thrilled to know that he would be receiving his gifts in time for the holiday and since shipping overseas to an APO address, I would need this extra time. Unfortunately, the package never arrived. The first time I called Skullcandy , the customer service representative couldn't help me, and would need to put in a request for a call back within 48 hours. I received no call back, and four days later, my second call to customer service included twenty five minutes of hold time waiting for the escalations department, in order to find the package, where had it gone, anyway? Eventually, the second customer service representative asked if I would mind if she entered a request for a call back within 48 hours. Again, I received no return call, and three days after, you guessed it, I called again. This third representative was able to get me to an escalations specialist who promised to ship the original order to my nephew at the APO address, although he warned this would take additional steps on his part. He initially didn't want to do it, and suggested shipping the items to my home address, so that I could ship to the APO myself. When asked if I would be refunded the cost of shipping the items to the APO address myself, the answer was no, so we forged ahead with shipping to the APO (a P.O box address for military service members overseas). Ten minutes later, I received an email confirming this customer service representative had re-submitted the order, you'll never guess where he sent my nephew's gifts, that's right, my home address. I immediately called customer service and spoke with one more customer service representative, who promised, wait for it, to put in a request for a call back within 48 hours as she could not change the shipping address herself. Again, no returned call, and when I receive the package, I will have to go to the United States Postal Service myself and pay to ship the now, month late gifts to my nephew. What do I recommend? Don't use the skullcandy website, if you do, do not expect any of the customer service representatives to help you. I will never purchase from this company again, too bad, I have plenty of teenage relatives needing gifts all year long.
